Product Description A useful review tool in preparing for the NCLEX-RN examination, this full-color guide is based on the latest NCLEX-RN test plan including alternate item formats. In an outline format, it comprehensively reviews all areas of nursing, including maternity, pediatric, medical-surgical, psychiatric, and gerontologic. More than 4,000 practice questions are included in the book/CD-ROM package, along with comprehensive rationales and test-taking strategies. * Text and accompanying CD-ROM provide a total of 4,000 practice questions. The CD-ROM includes all 1,800 questions from the book, plus over 2,200 more. * Every question includes a correct answer, rationales for all responses, test-taking strategy, level of cognitive ability, integrated process, category of client needs, and reference to a major nursing text. * Alternate item format questions, including fill-in-the-blank, multiple-response, and illustration questions, provide exposure to these new formats on the NC! LEX-RN exam. * A comprehensive exam consists of 265 questions with content areas in the same percentages as the current NCLEX-RN test plan. * Pharmacology is emphasized with 13 pharmacology chapters, a medication and intravenous calculation chapter, and a pediatric medication calculation chapter. * Pyramid to Success sections provide an overview of each chapter plus a focused guide for review.

A must have for NCLEX and nursing school! September 2, 2010 A. L. Aguilar Everyone had this book during nursing school and I resisted purchasing it until I had to review for the NCLEX. Big mistake... I should have bought it at the beginning. Although it is impossible to review everything you learned in one month this book made quick look-ups insanely easy. This is a great book and I recommend it to everyone who does not want to look up last information in all their texts!!
Love Saunders August 31, 2010 pen Saunders focuses not on recall type of questions, mainly, but on application and analysis types.
This bk arrived intact and new. :)
nclex review August 28, 2010 T. Andrews I found the information provided very useful, and easily understood. I didn't find a lot of questions like the review questions on the NCLEX, but I don't regret buying this at all. Passed with a minimum amount of questions (75), and only used this book and one other to review with.
A must for attending nursing school August 27, 2010 John Sheehan (Cape Cod) This is helpful for the NCLEX-RN examination. Up to date information. I am glad to have purchased this at Amazon.com.
Great book for board review August 1, 2010 D. Kersey (Chicago, IL) My wife is reading this book to prepare for her RN test in 5 months. She says it's very comprehensive and well written.
