These small hoop earrings are crafted from gleaming 14 karat yellow gold and accented with six channel-set amethyst stones. The round, faceted stones line the front of the earring, drawing attention with their rich purple color and pretty sparkle. Viewed from the side, the earrings have a broad surface of polished yellow gold; in back a filigree pattern adds a decorative touch. These earrings measure about half an inch long and fasten securely with a latchback closure.

These earrings are comfortable, well crafted, have nice color and perfect for casual to dressed up attire. As other reviewers noted;these earrings are on the petite side. I find the size to be a plus since they are 14k gold and still light weight for my sensitive ears. I'm thinking about buying a couple more pairs of these with other gemstones.

I bought these earrings as a Bat Mitzvah present for my daughter. She is very happy with them. They are delicate and pretty for a young lady, yet this classic style will be flattering on her for her entire life.

Earrings are pretty, though very small. However, post catch was loose. I returned them.
