These are nice, well-put-together cufflinks, but you might find the picture misleading. As you can probably tell, the center is a brushed steel finish and the edges are polished. What might appear to be a shadow in the picture is actually a small strip of blacking between brushed and polished portions, so these might go nicely with a black-faced watch. The overall color is a bit darker than true silver - maybe somewhere between silver and a light gunmetal.

These are basic albeit a little expensive, but that brands for you. These were a great complement to my french cuffed shirt. As always Amazon devlivered fast and securely.
