Nice steps for the price. Compact, lightweight, durable, easy to clean & assemble & able to fold flat for storage. I use to help my aging kitty to get on top of high bed so she doesn't snag my comforter anymore with her nails to get that extra boost. Showed her the steps and helped guided (gently pushed) her twice & then she uses all the time. I use along the side of bed which does not take up much space. Although this product is a good idea and lightweight, the description is misleading saying the steps will hold 120 lbs. I purchased it for a 60 lb. dog, however, it was too wobbly and unstable so I am returning it. I would judge the practical limit to be closer to 30 lbs. Also, because of how small the steps are, it is difficult for a medium to large dog to use (especially when the dog is not as nimble as he or she once was).
That said, I would have given it 4 stars if the description was accurate and I had purchased it for a smaller dog. It is ideal for small, light weight dogs and folds nicely up to go under the bed.
Great for dogs with vision problems~ July 12, 2010

I purchased these steps for my shih-tzu terrier mix who has some brain and vision problems. I needed something to assist him to climb up on our tall family bed to reduce the possibility of him injuring himself by jumping up. These are great! He was reluctant at first so I placed dog treats on each stop all the way up to the bed. After a couple days he now exclusively uses the steps and no longer tries to jump up. The stairs are sturdy and the carpeting is much nicer than having just the plain plastic. It also helps it not to be so slippery. I would highly recommend this for pets that need special care.

I bought these steps for my Yorkie to get on and off the bed. The steps are well made and they look nicer than the picture. They come with "anti-skid" pads, but if you have hardwood floors, the steps will slide all over the place and scare your dog out of using them. My solution was to cut small pieces of velcro and attach them to the bottom instead, and then velcro the steps to the floor. I mean, we can't have sliding steps! It works great and she's gotten used to the stairs now. (And believe it or not, if you have to move it for any reason, the velcro WILL come off of the floor without damaging the wood. You'll just probably have to cut more in order for it to stick again.)
