I needed a pair of sneakers that I could feasibly wear to work at an office without drawing too much attention to the fact that I was "dressing down" while being comfortable-- I walk about 2 miles to, from and around work every day. These are totally it! I got a pair as a gift, (I'm usually between an 8.5 and a 9; I got a 9 and it fits like a dream) and have worn them every chance since. They are adorable and sooo comfortable. What you see is what you get-- the brocade bit is eye-catching and shiny (at least on the Taupe pair, which is what I have). I usually have reservations about internet-shopping for sneakers, because sometimes the shoe is too tall and digs into my ankle bone. Not even an issue with these!

I bought this pair as a gift after purchasing my own. I love them and find them very comfortable and not clunky or heavy as I've found others to be. My recepient was thrilled and wears them very often!
 Good solid shoe - unappealing to my 18 yr old December 12, 2008
I thought my wild daughter would like to be different and these shoes were not the run of the mill style. She doesn't care for the patterns in the shoe they look sort of like a brocade instead of flowers. Anyway, the shoe itself is well made not too heavy (some Skechers seem rather heavy) so I like it but she doesn't.

I bought these shoes with hopes they would be both comfortable and stylish. (I bought them in black, maybe it's different for other colors) They are in fact very comfortable shoes, but I do not love the style. This color has more of the floral design covering the shoe, and I feel that it's too much. Much more than I was anticipating, and others do agree with me. I would recommend another pair if this is not for you. They do happen to be the most comfortable skechers shoes I have ever owned!
