warm comfy slippers January 7, 2009 These acorn slippers are warm and soft. Very comfortable and quality seems very good. (I've only had them a month) I'm a half size (7 1/2) with a wide foot which is not offered, so I went to the next size up (8-9). They are bigger than I would prefer, not bad enough to go through the hassle of exchanging them. If you are inbetween sizes you might want to think about going to the lower size for comfort. Mine flop on my feet when I walk. I received them within 2 days of being notified they shipped.....that's pretty good and they arrived in good condition.
Pittsburgher Favorite December 16, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have had polar mocs for several years and they are the best for cold Pittsburgh winters. The soles are rubber and thus water-proof and the rest of the slippers are polar-fleece and warm. I wear these around the house, but I can also wear them outside when taking the dog outside.
Substantial! December 1, 2008 Needed a heavy duty slipper for winter use (at computer on a tile floor) and this fits the bill perfectly - no cold seeping through the sole, and nice and snuggly. Definitely recommend.
Handsdown..the best! November 19, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
These.are.the.best.slippers.ever! I have given at least 2 pairs as gifts. I have owned at least 2 pairs. They are very warm and cushy. The rubber sole allows me to walk outside with the dogs, and is nice for traction on our hardwood floors. I wear an 8 in sneakers...the womens L(8-9) is too big for me. I have to wear the womens M(6.5-7.5). The L would be ok if i wore socks with them...but i don't...they would be too warm!
Acorn slippers rule May 29, 2008 Slippers don't get more comfortable or cozy than Acorns. They are well made and conform to your feet after a few wearings. In the cold winter months in the Midwest, they keep your feet warm every morning and night. I've tried other kinds of slippers that were cheaper and have gone back to Acorns -- pure delight.
