 Go for the soft sole September 19, 2008
I tried these shoes on in a store, then decided to order them online. When I received them, I realized they weren't as comfortable as the ones I had tried on. I found out that they make a soft soled version of the shoe. I exchanged them (which was a quick and painless process) and am extremely happy that I did. Birk makes a great shoe and they go well with everything. However, if you are looking for comfort, definitely go with the soft soled version.

I loved these sandles, they were sooo comfortable, but they were just sized too large. I wanted them to fit. After calling the company and learning that I HAD ordered the correct size, the sandles were just large all around, I returned them. Returning was easy. I was sent a pre-payed lable and the shoes were off within a week of arrival. No problem. Due to the time of year, I will order another style of Birks. Fyi, I am American size 5, ordered Euro size 35. Birks are soo comfortable.

As a lifelong Birkenstock fan, I am pleased as ever with my new pair. I am sure they will last the decade that my previous ones did. They are great shoes!

I use Birkenstock sandals in lieu of slippers; they are comfortable and
purchasing them thru the Amazon store was painless and efficient.
