My wife and I got these for our four year old daughter for a homemade doctor kit. She likes them because they are pink, we think its kinda neat to hear her heartbeat.

I bought this for my 5-year-old neice. She loves playing with medical toys, and the toy stethoscopes are so cheezy. This one really works, and it's affordable. It's also pink, so it's perfect for any little girl. Along with using it to play doctor and nurse, she runs around the house singing into it like a microphone. It's definately better than the toy versions. It's held-up really well, even with a 5-year-old playing with it daily, and she's pretty rough with her toys.
